Frequently asked questions.
Where are you based, and are you willing to travel?
I am currently based in Minneapolis, with projects throughout the greater Twin Cities area! If you are from outside of the Twin Cities and want to book a session with me, I’ll happily travel! I do not charge any additional fee for anywhere under 50 miles. If the location is more than 50 miles away, I charge a flat rate of $3 per mile one way for each mile beyond 50.
What should I wear for my portrait session?
The times you look best are when you feel the most comfortable. So away with those shoes that make your feet hurt! Let’s find something unique to you that both looks and feels great! I am always available to discuss outfit ideas and can provide helpful feedback as to what will look best through the lens. If you are looking for a quick starting point, this video includes some excellent basic information to get you started!
When will I receive my photos?
My typical turnaround is 3 weeks for standard graduation and portrait sessions. Larger custom sessions or event sessions may take a bit longer depending on the scope of the work. Oftentimes you will receive your images early, but this largely depends on the time of year!
How will I receive my photos?
After your photos are complete, you will receive a fully-encrypted online gallery that will allow you to download the full resolution final images. You will also receive a contact sheet with all of your images that will allow you to select prints.
How can I print my photos?
Depending on which session you choose, some packages include prints that will be shipped directly to you! If you would like to order additional prints through me, I have a list of individual print costs by size. If you would like to print photos on your own or have them printed through an outside vendor, print release’s are available for $25 and can be purchased at any point before or after your session. I encourage clients to print photos through me, as I can ensure high-quality prints with properly calibrated colors, often at lower prices!
